Adding a OD left on buzzer

Using clamp to re-attach leads Posted by Hello

Adding a OD left on buzzer

I have tried several lights and still leave the OD switch on about half of the time. I decided to add a nasty buzzer to let me know this. I got the idea from an old tip in the Chicagoland MG Club publication so I would like to think those writers for the solution. Basically there are two leads, one on the od inhibitor switch and the other on the od on/off switch, with a buzzer in the middle. The buzzer will sound if the on/off switch is on and the shifter is not in 3rd or 4th gear! It works great! Here is a photo of the surgical clamps used to reattach the leads to the od inhibitor switch.
